Welcome! Fanvantage is a sports based web application that's built off of the Foursquare API. The purpose of Fanvantage is simple. It's to see who's fan's will travel to see their beloved teams.
The idea came about during the Foursquare Hackathon in September. Even though we didn't win, we felt we'd built a pretty awesome application that captured some important and meaningful data, and it was also well received by our peers. The BETA release will be coming out soon, and hopefully we'll be able to fully launch everything in April, before the start of baseball season.
ATTENTION! We're looking for some help with designing and branding this product. Fanvantage consists of one kick-ass software engineer and one front-end javascript ninja. Combined, we have ZERO design ability. If you're interested in helping us with this exciting project, please drop us a line. We might be working on a small budget, but we'd be happy to compensate good design work for website and programming work, beers, dinner, and/or our unconditional love. We're literally starting from scratch, so you'd have plenty of creative license with the branding and design of the product!
